Full Moon in Scorpio ⋆.˚ ☾ .⭒˚ A Soulful Rebirth inspired by Meghan Bay

On May 12th, we welcome a Flower Full Moon in Scorpio, and this one carries a powerful, transformative charge. While full moons are always a time for release and renewal, this Scorpionic moon dives deeper, stirring lasting change at the soul level. As a water sign, Scorpio governs the hidden, emotional depths, our fears, desires, shadows, and the power we often keep buried. Rituals involving liquids - such as moon water, soaking in bath, or applying Moon Oil can be particularly effective.

Scorpio is connected to the sacral chakra, our centre of emotion, our womb, sensuality, creativity and intimacy. When imbalanced, we may feel blocked, reactive or disconnected from our inner power. It's considered the centre of our ability to experience joy and flow with life. Scorpio's energy encourages us to feel fully, release shame and reclaim our emotional truth asking us to face what we’ve buried or denied.

It’s the moment you stop gaslighting your own intuition. The moment you stop holding your breath around people who can’t hold your truth. The moment you remember that shadow work isn’t some trend- it’s sacred reclamation.

It wants your truth. The parts of you that kept quiet to stay safe. The mask you wore because the survival told you it was smarter than honesty.
This lunation digs it all up-not to shame you, but to set you free

This is your permission to be real

What to Release Under This Scorpio Moon
Emotionally baggage, resentment and old wounds
Control, attachment or fear of change
 Shame around sensuality or self-expression
Versions of yourself you've outgrown

4 Full Moon in Scorpio Practices

@Meghan.bay

1. Journal Prompts, mantras or meditation
I open myself up to true intimacy and vulnerability
I will not let my past failures or fears in regards to love control me
I open myself up to true intimacy and vulnerability
Is there a repeating theme, trigger or feeling that keeps arising?
Where in my life do I feel powerless, and why?
What’s holding me back from embracing change fully?
How do I protect myself from getting hurt? Is that protection still serving me?

2. Burning Practice
(Scorpio is ruled by Mars & Pluto, planets of fire)
After journaling, consider writing down what you're ready to release and burn it safely (symbolising transformation). Scorpio energy supports death & rebirth

3. Moon Womb Massage to Release
As releasing is an emotional process, it's important to end the ritual with self-love and gentle self-holding, honouring the space you've created within yourself

♡ Create a safe, nurturing environment. Light a candle, speak your intention aloud or silently (e.g. “I release all that no longer serves my womb and my being.”). Connect with the energy of the full moon, visualise it illuminating your body with light and truth.

♡ Warm the Moon oil in your hands. Begin to rub your palms together slowly and with presence, infusing the oil with your intention. Gently apply the oil to your lower belly and womb area, just below your navel.

♡ With both hands, begin making slow, clockwise circles around your lower belly.  Breathe deeply into your womb space as you do this. Imagine stuck energy melting and loosening.

♡ Release & Flow
Begin to make downward strokes with your palms, moving from just below your navel toward your pubic bone. This encourages emotional and energetic release. As you do this, visualise old pain, patterns, or blockages be floating away like water.

♡ Hold & Integrate
Place both hands over your womb. Be still. Breathe gently. Tune into what your womb wants to tell you. You might hear a word, see a colour, or feel an emotion rise.

♡ Close the Ritual
Cover your belly with a warm compress or blanket. Sit or lie down for a few moments in silence. Offer yourself love, place a hand on your heart, and thank your body for showing up

4. Water Ritual
Run a bathe or place some water in a dish under the Moon Light, visualise any feelings from `1. Journal Prompts, mantras or meditation`, give thanks to the nourishing life force of the water, speak into the water, imagine the water further supporting your emotions or cleansing what is no longer needed

"it has been a journey of letting myself love and be loved, relentlessly.
now there is a piece of me that revels in this built in ritual of death and rebirth.
because of what i’ve known,
now, i will always be a woman bravely honouring her body. i will always be a woman nurturing other’s tenderly. i will always be a woman who see’s the courage in asking for help, of softening into love.
now, i will always be a woman who notices and revels in the bliss the cycle brings because i was not born into the peace of it, i fought for it… and now i sit here in the blood of the battle, proud of the woman i’ve been devoted to becoming."- @Meghan.bay
