Libra Full Moon ⋆⭒˚ 𓍝。⋆ a return to balance

On April 2nd, the Full Moon rises in Libra, illuminating the themes of balance, relationships and emotional alignment. Full moons are always a time of culmination, a moment where what has been building beneath the surface comes into full view. In Libra, this energy is softened but deeply reflective, asking us to look at where we may be out of balance within ourselves and in our connections with others.

Libra is the sign of harmony, partnership and equilibrium. Under this moon, you may become more aware of where you’ve been over giving, people-pleasing, or compromising your own needs to maintain peace. Equally, it may highlight where you’ve withdrawn, created distance or avoided necessary conversations. This is not about blame, but an opportunity to bring awareness to. The Libra Full Moon gently invites you back into alignment both internally and externally so that your relationships can feel more honest, supportive and reciprocal in this next moon cycle.

This is a powerful time to reflect on your boundaries. Where are you saying yes when you mean no? Where are you holding tension in your body from unspoken truths? Balance is not something we achieve once, it is something we continuously return to. And this moon offers an opportunity to recalibrate.

Rather than pushing forward, this is a moment to slow down and restore. Rest becomes essential here, not as something passive, but as an active way of regulating your nervous system and creating space for clarity. Strengthening relationships under this moon doesn’t always mean doing more, it can also mean communicating clearly, choosing honesty and allowing space where needed. True harmony begins within and from there, it naturally extends outward.

Restorative Yin & Womb Practice

This Libra Full Moon is an ideal time to come back into your body through gentle, restorative practices that support release, softness, and reconnection with your womb space.

What You’ll Need:

  • A quiet, comfortable space
  • A cushion or bolster
  • A candle
  • Moon Oil

Guide
Dim the lights and light your candle. Allow this to be a signal to your body that it’s safe to slow down. Sit or lie down comfortably and begin to take slow, steady belly breaths, letting your exhale lengthen to activate your parasympathetic nervous system.

Warm a small amount of Moon Oil between your hands and gently massage it into your lower abdomen. Move slowly and intuitively, allowing your touch to soften any areas of tension. As you do this, bring your awareness to your womb space. Notice if there is tightness, numbness or emotion present. There is nothing to fix, only to feel and allow.

When you are ready move into a few supported yin postures, holding each for 3–5 minutes:

1. Reclined Bound Angle Pose (supported with cushions)
Opens the hips and allows the pelvic floor to release

2. Child’s Pose (with a bolster under the chest)
Gently compresses and soothes the abdomen

3. Legs Up the Wall
Supports circulation and reduces pelvic congestion

Stay in each pose without forcing depth. The intention is softness, not stretch.

While resting, you may notice thoughts or emotions arise, particularly around relationships, boundaries or areas where you feel out of balance. Let them surface without judgment. It’s important to allow things to come up during yin poses, as the stillness and long holds help the body access deeper layers of tension, allowing stored emotions (often held in the pelvic and womb space) to gently surface and release.

You might reflect on:

  • Where am I out of alignment in my relationships?
  • What boundaries am I being asked to strengthen?
  • Where can I invite more balance into my life?

Place both hands over your womb and take a few final breaths. You may choose to anchor the practice with an affirmation such as:

“I return to balance. I honour my needs. I create harmony within and around me.”

Blow out your candle slowly, allowing the practice to come to a close
