Breast Rituals
Why breast massage is important?
Breasts are like sponges and can easily store toxins within their fatty tissues, which is why regular breast massage supports healthy hormone regulation. Beyond physical benefits, this daily wellness ritual nurtures self-love, clears stagnation, promotes a state of calm and deepens your connection to your body
Daily massage is especially important in today’s world, where we’re constantly exposed to xenoestrogens (synthetic chemicals found in plastics, cosmetics, and common cleaning products) that can disrupt our natural estrogen balance and impact our health.
Massage improves circulation helping the body detox and remove harmful fluids whilsts also stimulating the vagus nerve, helps regulate the nervous system and encourages the release of oxytocin, the “love hormone.” Beyond physical benefits, this practice is a nurturing ritual of self-love, connecting us deeply to our bodies and supporting overall well-being
Massage done in conjunction with the Moon Oil becomes a powerful detoxifying ritual for nurturing breast health. Its rich blend, formulated with iodine and magnesium, that work on a cellular level to support and protect breast tissue. Regular use may help with fibrocystic breasts, premenstrual tenderness and can contribute to overall breast resilience.
How to massage your breast
-
Begin with a few deep belly breaths. As you inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, gently press your fingertips into your expanding belly to activate the lymphatic system.
-
Starting at the sternum (centre of your chest), glide your hand outward across the breast toward the armpit and continue over to the opposite side of your body.
-
Using your whole hand, gently massage the lymph nodes just above your collarbone in small circular motions (about 8–10 times). Then, do the same for the lymph nodes in your armpits (key drainage points for fluid from the chest, head, and neck)
-
Apply a few drops of Tutti Moon Oil to your breast or hands, rubbing over breast.
-
Mentally divide each breast into three sections (upper, middle, and lower) Using light, sweeping pressure, guide the fluid from each section toward the top of the armpit (avoid using your fingertip rather the area below to star of palm & palm (use opposite hand on breast)
-
Next, gently massage the outer portion of the breast, again moving fluid toward the armpit.
-
Follow by massaging underneath the breast in the same direction, then lightly lift and gently shake the breast to encourage fluid movement.
-
To finish circle your arms five times forward and five times backward to further stimulate lymph flow. And repeat the stimulating circular massage over the lymph nodes above the collarbone and in the armpits.

Why do the breast need Iodine?
Iodine is an essential nutrient that is often overlooked in conversations about breast wellness. While it’s well-known for supporting thyroid function, iodine is also critical for maintaining healthy breast tissue. Adequate iodine levels may help prevent fibrocystic breast changes and could potentially reduce the risk of breast cancer.
Breast tissue depends on iodine for optimal cellular function. It plays a crucial role in regulating estrogen metabolism, helping maintain healthy hormone balance. When iodine levels are sufficient, estrogen is guided along protective pathways, whereas low iodine can lead to hormonal imbalances that may increase the risk of breast-related issues.
Why is Iodine deficiency so common?
Even though iodine is added to table salt, many people remain deficient.
Halides: Everyday substances like chlorine, fluoride, and bromine, found in tap water, baked goods, and flame retardants compete with iodine in the body, reducing its absorption.
Soil Depletion: Modern farming practices have stripped soils of much of their iodine, meaning even naturally iodine-rich foods contain less than they did in the past.
Importance of Magnesium for breast
Magnesium is essential for the vitality of our cells, and its importance grows in today’s toxic world, where our bodies are exposed daily to heavy metals and environmental stressors. A deficiency in magnesium directly threatens cellular health, without enough cells can become sluggish, compromised and more vulnerable to imbalances like yeast or fungal overgrowth. Supporting magnesium levels helps protect and energise our cells, preserving our life force and overall well-being
A study conducted in Sweden found that women with the highest magnesium intake had a 40% lower risk of developing breast cancer compared to those consuming the least magnesium
Magnesium chloride is a cornerstone in supporting the body during cancer care. From the very beginning, the Survival Medicine Cancer Protocol emphasises the importance of regular transdermal application, allowing the body to absorb this vital mineral.

Frankincense shows anti-cancer promise for breast health
Research has shown that frankincense extract possesses anticancer properties against breast cancer stem-like cells (CSLCs) and has the quality to suppress tumor progression. Unlike many conventional anticancer agents that show limited effectiveness in targeting these cells, frankincense offers a promising natural alternative for combating breast CSCs (Farahani, Mohammad Kamalabadi, et al. “Evaluation of Anticancer Effects of Frankincense on Breast Cancer Stem-Like Cells.” Cancer Reports, vol. 6, 2023, e1693, PMC, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9939999/)
A 2022 study found that frankincense either directly destroyed many breast tumor cells or triggered processes that led to their death. Overall studies across the year consistently prove that frankincense has anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties and the ability to support immune cell function whilst balancing cell signalling, helping to cancer cells progression
